HOW TO BOOK YOUR EXPEDITION
If you are not sure which expedition you want to try, look through our website and read all the information we have on our destinations and ocean expeditions that might interest you. Once you have made a decision, contact us to find out the expeditions availability. Once we confirm we have space, you are ready to sign up and make your initial deposit or full payment. Please continue reading below to see how to make payments.
We are unable to reserve any expedition without a deposit.
PAYMENT DETAILS
The hardest part is over, now that you have chosen your expedition and we have confirmed availability it’s time to make a payment and reserve your place. There are two ways to make your deposit and payments. Using Paypal and our online booking forms or via bank transfer to our Unique Ocean Expeditions Ltd business account.
To make things simple all of our expeditions require a deposit of $500. This can be paid online with Paypal or via bank transfer. If you wish to pay your deposit via Paypal please go to bookings and chose your selected expedition. You can then follow Paypal’s online instructions to pay either using your Paypal account or debit card. If you wish to pay via bank transfer from your local bank and keep bank transfer costs down we can accept GBP, USD and EURO currencies ONLY at present. Please fill out the online form below to receive our business bank account details in your selected currency. Please specify the currency you wish to pay your deposit and we will get back to you with the exact amount to transfer. It’s really that simple.
BANK TRANSFER FEES
All expeditions are calculated in US dollars and all bank transfer fees are paid by you the customer. Paypal will charge 2.98% + $0.30 for each transaction if you book online through our automated booking system. Your deposit of $500 will therefore be charged at $515, this is a nice fast and simple way of paying for your expeditions initial deposit. However these fees get quite large when paying for your 2nd deposit and final payment. We would suggest paying for these payments using a bank transfer from your local bank to our business account. We can accept GBP, EURO and USD only. There is a very small currency conversion normally 0.005% for this transaction. Please contact us using the online form below to receive our bank details.
AFTER YOUR INITIAL PAYMENT
Once your initial deposit has been received we will send you a detailed PDF document explaining your trip itinerary with all breakdowns along with your receipt. All expedition costs are subject to change without prior notice until your reservation is confirmed. All expeditions require you to carry TRIP & DIVE insurance due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Our initial information will require your passport photo and you will be asked several health and diving questions.
After your initial deposit of $500 per person a 2nd deposit of 50% on your specified trips due date and the final remaining balance no later than 90 days before departure will finalise your payments.

Full payment is due no later than 90 days before departure. We reserve the right to sell any space that is not paid in full by 60 days before departure.
